'Funny and loyal' Brit, 21, stabbed to death after argument at Spanish house party

Tributes have been paid to a "funny, honest and loyal" Brit who was stabbed to death at a Spanish house party. Ben Nesbit, 21, from Southport, Merseyside, suffered fatal knife wounds during the early hours of Thursday morning in Ciudad Quesada in the province of Alicante.

Spanish press reported that two British men got into an argument at a property in Ciudad Quesada before the fight spilled out onto the street.

During the altercation, Mr Nesbitt was fatally stabbed in the neck. There is no suggestion he was at fault, and a manhunt is underway to find the attacker.

The incident is reported to have happened at around 3am on October 1. Ben, who is survived by his beloved nan and sister, had told a close friend about his upcoming holiday,
