Stepping off the bench for the second time in as many matches, the England international tapped home from close quarters, connecting with Edinson Cavani's square pass to seal a 1-0 win in the third and final minute of stoppage time for the home side.
Rashford had stepped off the bench just past the hour mark to replace Anthony Elanga in a bid to provide United with some fresh energy, as they pushed for the game's opening goal, and he found himself in the right place at the right time to net his second goal in as many games and seal United's first home win in the Premier League in 2022.
The contest, by and large, was not one that will live long in the memory, with clear cut chances at a premium at both ends of the pitch, with neither goalkeeper having a great deal to do between the sticks.
