GB News presenter Dan Wootton, 38, in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk.The Death In Paradise star has branded Dan a “villainous character” after the remarks he made on Lorraine following the former's Strictly elimination in 2018.This Monday, Danny will be starring in the theatrical adaptation of Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code, where he will portray Sir Leigh Teabing - a character brought to life by legendary actor Sir Ian McKellen in the 2006 film.When the actor was asked where he drew inspiration to play such a villainous character, he made reference to GB News presenter Wootton.

Danny explained: “He called me a Z-lister and he doesn’t even know me! Villainous character? Yeah, him. “You see, this is what happens when you start fights you can't finish.

I didn’t do anything to him and he’s a villainous character. “Never said a word and he don’t know me from Adam. He called me a Z-lister.”(sic)Danny went on to recall the day that Dan had spoken about him live on Lorraine. “Full of baloney!
