The Royal Regiment of Scotland (SCOTS) has been honoured by South Lanarkshire Council.At the full council meeting, a motion was proposed by Provost Margaret Cooper and seconded by the Veterans’ Champion, councillor Mark Horsham, to grant the Freedom of South Lanarkshire to the regiment.Provost Cooper said: “I am delighted that we have been able to honour the Royal Regiment of Scotland (SCOTS) in this way.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
