Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Fraser Forster 'didn't want' Celtic stay as Southampton chief details keeper's return decision

Fraser Forster rejected the chance to stay at Celtic, as he looks to fight for his place at St Mary's. The goalkeeper returned to Parkhead on loan last summer, and was a key man as Neil Lennon 's side won a league and cup double.

Forster also impressed with his performances in Europe, particularly in the two wins over Lazio, and Celtic were keen to bring him back as they go for 10 In A Row.

The England international rejected that opportunity though, and will now look to take back the number 1 slot at Southampton.

Chief executive Martin Semmens told BBC Radio Solent: "Fraser made an active decision to come back. He didn’t want to stay at Celtic anymore, he wanted to come back and play for us so we’ll give him that opportunity."Fraser has.
