Frankie Bridge has explained that her now husband Wayne could have “run” from her when her mental health suffered early in their relationship.
The 31-year-old chart topping singer began a relationship with 40-year-old football hunk Wayne back in 2011 – with the couple going on to wed in 2014 and welcome two sons together.
Frankie has been an open book about her mental health struggles over the years – becoming a spokesperson for those who struggle with depression.
The star spent time in a psychiatric hospital in 2011 at a point when her relationship with Wayne was in the early stages. Frankie says their romance and subsequent marriage has been greatly strengthened thanks to Wayne’s learning and understanding of her condition.
