Tyson Fury is set to look for an alternate opponent after talks with Dillian Whyte were unable to advance. Promoter Frank Warren has confirmed that talks between the two parties have stalled because of Whyte's ongoing arbitration with the WBC.
The arbitration, which ironically stems from the delay in giving the British fighter his heavyweight title shot, has made it impossible for the two parties to agree on a purse for the fight.
The arbitration is due to begin in March, with hopes of a resolution later in the year. Speaking on future events in March and April, Warren stated that Fury - who does not want to be inactive - will fight soon after the new year, but is unsure on his opponent.
