Frank McRae, a National Football League player turned actor, died in Santa Monica, Calif. on April 29 from a heart attack. He was 80 and his death was confirmed by his daughter-in-law, Suzanne McRae.Born in Memphis, Tenn., he attended Tennessee State University as a double major in drama and history, then moved on to the NFL as a defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams.McRae also appeared in the 1989 James Bond film Licence to Kill as Sharkey, a close friend of the Timothy Dalton Bond and David Hedison’s Felix Leiter.Aside from his tough guy roles, McRae also was in the comedy films National Lampoon’s Vacation, Batteries Not Included, and Used Cars.

James, who recently lost 13 stone in weight, wore jeans and a grey sweatshirt as he and a friend attempted to retrieve the parts of his fence which were blown away by the high winds which even broke records at 122mph in some parts of the country. The reality star was seen looking concerned at the scenes he found outside his home, holding his head in his hands at one point. However, he didn’t dwell on the problem for too long and soon hopped over his brick wall and started collecting the large panels which had been blown into the street and putting them back in his yard where a friend helped him move them. James moved into the property a few months ago and reflected on buying his dream home as he turned 34 in December. He shared a photo of him sitting in his garden with the house behind him, writing: ‘I’ve got lots to be proud of.
