Fragrance du Bois have launched their first male-focused fragrance Lucius and it might just be the new 'it scent' for men. Our team fragrance expert caught a whiff of it in Harvey Nichols last week and has been thinking about it ever since.
It opens up with notes of pink pepper, bergamot and mandarin before delving into a heart of cedarwood and orange flower. It's got a grounded base of amber, vetiver and tonka bean. The scent aims to 'project an aura of sophistication and boldness' and it is said to achieve that.
It is officially male-focused but could definitely work for a unisex crowd. At £295 a bottle it does have quite a luxe price point but it definitely has the potential to knock Parfums de Marly's Layton and Creed Aventus from their perch.
