Fox News Taps Will Cain To Host Afternoon Show After Departure Of Neil Cavuto

deadline.comWill Cain, the co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend, will take over the 4 p.m. ET weekday timeslot on Fox News Channel following the departure of Neil Cavuto last month.
Cain will start his show, The Will Cain Show, on Jan. 21. Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt will replace Cain as Fox & Friends Weekend co-host, joining Rachel Campos-Duffy.
As he takes the new role, Hurt will step down as opinion editor of The Washington Times. Cavuto left the network last month after hosting his show since the Fox News launch in 1996.
Fox News also announced other changes, with The Fox Report and The Big Weekend Show expanding to two hours on Saturdays and Sundays starting on January 18.
