Former Studiocanal Exec Lucy Savage Among Trio Behind New Distribution Outfit Two Fresh, Company Set For EFM With Debut Title ‘Stelios’

EXCLUSIVE: Former Studiocanal and Kaleidoscope exec Lucy Savage has teamed with Cey Sesiguzel and Andreas Tokkallos to launch a new film distribution outfit called Two Fresh Distribution.

The company will focus on films from and about the Mediterranean. They’ve set their first title, Stelios, and will launch the film at the upcoming European Film Market.

Directed by Yorgos Tsemberopoulos and produced by Tanweer Productions, the film tells the story of Greek music legend and singer Stelios Kazantzidis, the lead singer of the band Melisses.

Christos Mastoras is in the lead role. The film passed 800,000 admissions in Greece in January. The UK release date is set for April 25th. “Greeks have been lining up outside movie theaters to watch the film on the life and career of this beloved singer admired by older and Younger generations alike,” the Two Fresh Distribution team said. “We are very excited to share this important and wonderful film with the wide Greek diaspora here in the UK, where we think it will be equally as successful.”  Two Fresh Distribution has also picked up The Divided Island, a 2024 doc about Cyprus.
