variety.comJennifer Maas TV Business Writer Sony Pictures Television has upped Mike Wald and Jason Spivak to co-presidents of distribution and networks.
Together, Wald and Spivak will take over the role previously held by Keith Le Goy, who was promoted to Sony Pictures Television chairman in January.
In their new positions, they will continue to report to Le Goy. Wald and Spivak will co-lead the studio’s combined television and home entertainment distribution businesses.
Their purview will include overseeing post-theatrical distribution of films, global distribution of TV series, multi-channel marketing and international cable networks in Latin America and Europe.
