Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon celebrated his 50th milestone birthday in style over the weekend. The Parkhead icon was seen smiling as he posed in front of gold and white balloons for the big day on Friday.Glasgow -based The Pop Up Party shared an image of the ex-midfielder as he appeared to celebrate at home.

And they were clearly thrilled to work with Neil. Writing on Instagram, they said: “Gorgeous combo of nude, gold and soft grey marble and mini pampas cloud for Neil’s special BIG 50 birthday celebrations…was a pleasure to work on this one.” Neil Lennon left his role as Celtic boss in February this year as the club fell well short of their bitter Glasgow rivals Rangers at the top of the Premiership table following a string of poor results..
