Foreign Office issues urgent travel warning on 16 countries after Iran attack on Israel

The Foreign Office has issued new travel warnings for 16 countries today following. In light of the recent drone attack on Israel by Iran, those planning to visit destinations including Morocco and the United Arab Emirates are strongly advised to check travel advice before making their journey.

It comes after yesterday's warnings, which saw travellers urgently cautioned about heightened risks in over 18 countries, particularly around the southern Mediterranean and the Middle East, due to increased tensions following events in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Iran launched an offensive on Israel with 300 drones and missiles last night; nevertheless, most were intercepted and shot down.
