Aldi has issued an urgent recall of its Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White amid an "active police investigation".The supermarket chain was forced to remove the item from sale last month due to concerns it "may have been tampered with".In March, Aldi initiated a recall for the tortilla wraps over safety concerns regarding the "possible presence of metal".

This recall applies to all best before dates up to and including April 29, 2024, for the Signature Flatbreads UK product, which is sold in a pack size of 8x62g.Customers who have purchased the affected product are being urged to return it to their nearest Aldi store for a full refund.
