Brits planning a trip to the much-loved European hotspot Croatia have been cautioned by the Foreign Office about a possible 'high threat' of terrorism.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has revised its travel guidance for Croatia due to concerns over potential terrorist threats targeting the sought-after tourist destination.

Although Croatia is not currently facing an immediate threat, the FCDO advises visitors to remain vigilant. On January 14, the FCDO website was updated with the following advice: "Although there's no recent history of terrorism in Croatia, attacks cannot be ruled out." It warned that "Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places visited by foreigners."
