A young footballer tragically took his own life after suffering from loneliness during lockdown. Jordan Tucker-Blanc was found dead at his house in Silverdale Drive, Ribblenton, Preston, on November 2 by his dad Vincent, an inquest heard.

According to an inquest at Preston Coroner's Court on February 1, the 27-year-old had been furloughed during lockdown following the death of his mum - both of which caused extreme grief.
