A major trophy which was due to go proudly on display at a city centre museum has vanished at Manchester Airport. England's amputee football team made history as they won the Nations League tournament earlier this year.
With the real trophy due to go back to organisers after two years, the team ordered a replica from the same artist, which was to be displayed at the National Football Museum.
But after picking the trophy up in Poland and flying back to Manchester via Amsterdam this week, the silverware disappeared.
