Football icon gets engaged to Jude Law's ex in stunning proposal

Jude Law's ex Catherine Harding is engaged to Arsenal footballer Jorginho after he popped the question with a romantic proposal.

The Gunners midfielder, 31, got down on one knee surrounded by red roses and candles as he asked the 32 year old singer to be his wife.The pair were also serenaded by a violinist at the time, while loved-up photographs of them were displayed on the floor beneath a giant heart made out of flower petals and a neon sign that read: “Will you marry me?” Catherine - or Cat for short - dazzled in a sparkling red backless gown while Jorginho, who was born in Brazil but plays for the Italy national side after moving there when he was 15, looked dapper in a black suit.

The Irish-born musician, who appeared on the 2020 edition of The Voice UK under the name Cat Cavelli, shared a number of pictures from the sweet engagement moment to her Instagram page with the caption, ‘My love’ written in Portuguese, followed by an infinity symbol and diamond ring emoji.

She also posted a video of the proposal set to John Legend's song Never Break with the caption: “The next chapter in our story.” The pair are thought to have been dating since 2020 and share a three-year-old son, Jax.
