Lioness Millie Bright has got engaged in a romantic Christmas proposal. The England football captain, 30, was proposed to by her boyfriend Levi Crew, an online athletics coach, who got down on one knee on the sun-soaked Mauritius Island.

Millie then delightedly showed off her stunning ring on Instagram. Alongside three beautiful images, she wrote: "Little did I think this would be the most beautiful Christmas in my entire life… I said YES after the shock had settled and Levi reminded me yes or no.

You was already my person but here’s to the future bubba. I love you." Fellow England players were quick to offer their congratulations to the happy couple, with Chloe Kelly saying: "Omg yess," while Alex Greenwood added, "Best news… Congrats to you both," and Niamh Charles commented, "Omg Yayyy congrats." Rachel Daly looked forward to the couple's big day, saying: "Already got my wedding planner at the ready, love you both," with Georgia Stanway commenting: "Congratulations to you both." Millie normally keeps her relationship with Levi out of the spotlight, but is known to affectionately refer to him as her "king".The footballing star has a tattoo of Levi’s eye on her left forearm, with the design also including half a tiger. ‘It’s my partner’s eye and half a tiger, my core strength with me through thick and thin,’ she told SunSport.Their relationship is known to date back to at least 2020, as part of it was long-distance due to Coronavirus.

Following the pandemic however, Levi later moved to Surrey where he now lives with Millie. The couple also live with their two French bulldogs, Zeus and Hera, and regularly share snaps on social media of their swanky pad.
