Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins 'had multiple drugs in system' and suffered 'chest pains'

Colombian investigators have said a preliminary toxicology report revealed Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins had drugs in his system before he died on Friday 25 March.The musician was found dead in his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia, at the age of 50 a few hours before the band was due to play at Festival Estéreo Picnic.

Colombia's attorney general has now said in a new statement that a preliminary urine toxicology test on Hawkins' body found 10 different substances present, including opioids, marijuana, tricyclic antidepressants, and benzodiazepines.The statement added: “The National Institute of Forensic Medicine continues to conduct the necessary medical studies to ascertain the cause of death.
