In November, searches for ‘fluffy’ bucket hats increased by 25 per cent, according to fashion platform Lyst. The most popular search terms, it noted, were ‘shearling’ and ‘faux fur,’ which have seen searches increase by 57 per cent.
After Kendall Jenner was spotted wearing a £14 ASOS Design faux fur bucket hat in November, sales of the brand’s bucket hats shot up by 48 per cent.
Think a reimagined iteration of Jamiroquai’s furry wide-rimmed chapeau from his 1996 ‘Virtual Insanity’ video, or an ever-so-slightly more demure version of the pale pink offering that sat atop Pamela.
