Flights will continue to disrupted at some of the country's busiest airports on Sunday, the UK’s main air traffic control provider has warned.
There was disruption at Manchester Airport today (Saturday) due to the foggy conditions as the UK was hit by a third day of murky weather.
Departure boards also showed delays at Heathrow, Stansted and Luton. Air traffic restrictions were imposed on a number of UK airports including Manchester on Friday and remained in force this morning (Saturday).
These were gradually eased at Manchester as the day progressed and were lifted this evening, a spokesman for the airport said.
