A man who died in a single-car crash in Glasgow this week has been named as 59-year-old Nigel Barclay from Easterhouse in the city.
The incident took place in Carntyne Road around 12.35pm on Wednesday, December 4, and involved a green Vauxhall Insignia car.
Emergency crews raced to the road but Nigel, who was driving the car, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.Police Scotland previously said the 59-year-old's family has been informed of his death.
Nobody else was injured in the incident, and an investigation continues into the crash. Police previously thanked members of the public who stopped to help Nigel before the emergency services arrived.
