A woman driver killed in a horror motorway crash with a lorry in the early hours of the morning has been named by police. Beth Malpass was driving her red MG MG3 when it was involved in the smash with a white DAF Trucks HGV at around 1am on Saturday.
Emergency services rushed to the southbound carriageway between Wolverhampton and Cannock, Staffordshire, but the 27-year-old from Dudley, West Midlands, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Specialist officers are supporting the victim's heartbroken family, who have today released a picture of Beth. The driver of the lorry was not injured and police are now appealing for witnesses to to come forward.
