First look at new Hollywood Bowl's half a million pound refurbishment with new-look diner and arcade
manchestereveningnews.co.ukHollywood Bowl Bolton has been celebrating its half a million pound makeover. The venue hosted a VIP night to mark the refurbishment of the centre, which is at Middlebrook Retail and Leisure Park, Bolton.
It features 26 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, including four plush VIP lanes, adorned with Marvel and Star Wars characters on the walls.
As well as the bowling, with an innovative scoring system and digital top scorer boards, there's a big amusement area with everything from Space Invaders, Mario Kart and Halo, to all-time family favourites such as air hockey and racing games.
The new Ball Madness game, which drops hundreds of balls onto a player's head, was a huge hit with guests, who have to stand in the cubicle and race against the clock to gather up the balls and place them inside a tube.
