Scots town this morning as a large fire took hold at an industrial estate, Emergency services raced to the scene at Lenziemill Industrial Estate in Cumbernauld after receiving reports of a blaze.
Two fire appliances were called out to help extinguish the flames at about 8.10am.Thick black smoke could be seen from across the town as firefighters battled the well developed fire.It is understood that scaffolding at one of the industrial units had went alight.Fire crews spent about an hour extinguishing the flames, with people urged to avoid the Telford Place area.No casualties have been reported.
