Police today said a fire which tore through a block of flats and killed a mum is not believed to be suspicious.Residents were evacuated from the eight-in-a-block properties, on Belmont Road in Paisley’s Gallowhill area, after the blaze took hold on Thursday, April 13, with nothing but the clothes on their backs.Flames could be seen spreading across the roofs with six appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service racing to deal with the inferno.Tragically, 38-year-old Claire McFadyen was prounounced dead at the scene.
