Manchester United's preparation for this evening's clash with Everton has been disrupted after fire engines were called to the Lowry Hotel.According to the Daily Mirror, two fire engines pulled up outside the team hotel around 1pm this afternoon.
Firefighters raced into the hotel dressed in full protective gear. Moments later, the firemen were seen leaving the hotel, suggesting the incident was in fact a false alarm.
Just moments before the fire engines arrived on scene, United players had disembarked their team coaches and entered the hotel, which acts as their pre-match hub on home matchdays.The Red Devils have used the property for a number of years.
