Fire crews rushed to the scene of blaze at a 'dangerous' and disused building in a Salford park on Monday evening (September 19).
The boarded-up site, in Buile Hill Park, set alight at around 5pm. Photos showed the fire brigade in attendance, with an extensive number of fire engines called out to the incident.
One remained stationed on Eccles Old Road, with police also at the scene. Clouds of smoke could be seen from the roof of the disused outbuilding, which was branded 'dangerous' on a sign attached to one of the bricked walls.
A special aerial ladder was also used to get water in through the roof of the crumbling site. READ MORE Asda shoppers queue around entire Manchester store with 'shelves bare' as it reopens after Queen's funeral The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
