Fire crews have descended on a east Manchester street this evening to tackle a building fire at a property. Three fire engines raced to Moston Lane in Moston just before 8pm on Thursday (November 28) following reports of a building fire at a property.
Pictures show a large emergency services presence as firefighters used hoses to extinguish the flames. Emergency services have been at the scene for over an hour as fire crews work to battle the flames.
It is understood that nobody was injured during the incident. READ MORE: Tragedy as missing woman, 82, found dead In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just before 8pm this evening (Thursday 28th November), three fire engines from Broughton, Gorton and Chadderton fire station were called to reports of a building fire involving a property on Moston Lane, Manchester. “Crews arrived quickly at the scene.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using a hose reel, lighting, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. “Firefighters have been in attendance for around fifty minutes and are still at the scene.”
