A fire has broken out on the film set of Lord of the Rings prequel series, Rings Of Power, prompting the cast and crew members to flee from the scene.

Fire crews were reportedly alerted just before 12.30pm on Monday and arrived to find a single-storey warehouse on fire at Bray Studios in Berkshire.

Photographs shared on social media show clouds of dark smoke coming from the studios, located near Maidenhead, according to MailOnline.

The publication also reported that several fire engines rushed to the studios, where the second series of Rings Of Power is being filmed, in a bid to tackle the blaze.
