Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Filip Helander to realise his quality.Donadoni signed the Swedish stopper for Bologna after being tipped off by his general manager Riccardo Bigon who had been impressed by Helander after working with him at previous club Verona.And the 57-year-old admitted it proved to be sound advice after being hugely impressed by Helander during his two seasons at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.Helander fell out of favour following Donadoni’s departure as he struggled for game-time in the second half of the 2018/19 campaign after Sinisa Mihajlovic replaced Donadoni’s successor Filippo Inzaghi.That opened the door for a move to Rangers with Steven Gerrard landing the defender in a £3.5 million deal last summer where he showed his potential before a foot.
