Ferne McCann has spoken for the first time about suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage last year. The former The Only Way is Essex star opened up in the latest episode of her ITVBe series, First Time Mum, as fans were shown the sweet moment she told her fiance Lorri Haines that she was expecting again.
Speaking in a VT, Ferne said: "We found out that I was pregnant, we were so excited and it just felt like the right time to expand our family." Then, during a couples' counselling session, Ferne, who revealed earlier this month that she is pregnant with her and Lorri's first child together, said: "Very early on, I, I ummm, we had, we had a miscarriage as well." She then told the cameras: "I was five weeks and I started bleeding.
I was devastated." Ferne explained how she scoured the internet looking for reassurance that she wasn't losing her baby. Sadly, she realised she was having an early miscarriage. "I was really, really upset.
I think Lorri found it really hard to comprehend," she added. READ MORE: Stacey Solomon 'crying' over son's milestone after addressing judgement at becoming a mum at 17 The sad news comes after Ferne, 32, revealed earlier this month that she and 31-year-old Lorri are expecting a baby together.
