Fern Britton's emotional Celebrity Big Brother confession following 'miserable 24 hours'

Tonight's Celebrity Big Brother is set to air dramatic scenes as former This Morning presenter Fern Britton makes an emotional confession.Last night's Celebrity Big Brother Late and Live showed a clip of Fern confessing to Louis Walsh that she had put the snake on his bed as part of the nomination twist.On Monday, Big Brother called one housemate amid the house's St Patrick's Day celebrations, and Colson nominated Fern to go, admitting: "You're the only one I trust!"And as she entered the Diary Room, Fern found a pot of gold on the chair with a red toy snake on top, writes The Mirror.Big Brother told Fern: "Fern you’ve just found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

That means you’ve been granted one wish, the biggest wish of all. You must choose one housemate to be evicted. St Patrick famously banished the snakes from Ireland, and now by finding the pot of gold, you have been selected to banish a housemate."To seal her decision, she had to secretly place the red snake on the chosen person's pillow and she decided to pick Louis.However, Fern was unaware of the twist, and she actually picked someone to be given a free pass through the next nominations.

This meant that Louis would not be allowed to be put up for eviction by the housemates or the general public at home. Later on, housemates were told by Big Brother: "It appears St Patrick hasn’t driven out all the snakes… there is a slivery intruder in the bedroom, housemates must find it now." After learning the news, the house then started searching for the intruder as Louis was left annoyed to find it on his bed.

Louis was then summoned to the Diary Room and told what had happened as it was aired to his fellow housemates, who all thought he was about to leave.
