Celebrity Big Brother icon claims 'phoney' Fern Britton staged ITV fall scene

A Celebrity Big Brother row has broken out after a former housemate accused Fern Britton of staging one of the most dramatic moments on this year's series.

Kim Woodburn, 82, hit out at the former This Morning presenter for "pretending" she had hurt herself and even called her "phoney" as she referred to a situation which saw Fern hitting her head in the house.The 66-year-old collided with Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin during a house challenge after the pair ran into each other which resulted in Fern hitting her head on the back of a chair.

The contestants were split into two teams and were competing to pop each other's balloons when the incident took place with the game coming to a stop when Big Brother spotted that Fern had been injured.Nikita took Fern to the Diary Room where she rested and recovered before going back into the house, the Mirror reports.However, Kim said she is not convinced that the TV star actually hurt herself as she told The Sun: "I'll tell you what I did find.

I thought, 'Fern, what are you doing, dear?' when she pretended... I say pretended, but she did... when she pretended she'd hurt her head. "Now we know she hadn't.
