Russia would face a “dramatic increased response” from the West if Vladimir Putin uses chemical weapons in Ukraine, a Tory minister warned.Putin has summoned an United Nations Security Council emergency meeting on Friday to discuss what the Kremlin claims are “the military biological activities of the US on the territory of Ukraine”.
Kyiv and Washington have dismissed the claim from Russia that their forces have uncovered chemical weapon stores in eastern Ukraine, warning it could be Russia paving the way for a “false flag” attack before launching its own chemical weapons.
