Father of Lockerbie victim on 'extremely telling moment' that stood out from series

Since the worst air disaster and deadliest terror attack in UK history, Jim has campaigned to find the truth about what happened to his daughter.During a regularly scheduled flight from Frankfurt to Detroit, as the plane passed over Lockerbie, it exploded and 259 passengers and crew were killed.As the plan fell from the sky, 11 residents in the small Scottish town of Lockerbie were also killed.The disaster took place on December 21, 1988 and since then, Dr Jim has been a spokesperson for the UK victims' families as he searches for the truth and justice.Dr Jim has already seen the series and reflecting on moments that stood out, he praised Colin Firth for his portrayal."It may seem something very simple when taking into account all the glorious huge life scale sets and so on," he began."The thing that really struck me was a close up at one point of Colin's face, and the little muscles in his face were doing exactly what I knew my little muscles would have been doing if I had been asked that question."That really brought home to me how involved Colin had become in what he was being asked to portray.

That was an extremely telling moment, just for me."Reflecting on walking onto set, Jim shared the set for Camp Zeist "bought back intense memories of the actual trial"."The recreation of Camp Zeist was amazing," he explained.
