Fan dies before Rangers Europa League clash with Man Utd

dailyrecord.co.ukA football fan collapsed and died ahead of the Europa League clash between Rangers and Man Utd. The supporter sadly died at the Old Trafford before the 2-1 defeat to Rangers on Thursday night.
It is understood that the elderly fan died after a medical incident.It is currently unclear if they were supporting Manchester United or Rangers.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed there was no criminality surrounding the incident. Around 3,000 Ranges fans travelled south of the border to attend the game on Thursday.
Violence broke out in the stadium during the fixture, with Rangers fans caught up in brawls with Man United supporters.Alarming footage emerged showing a number of fights inside Old Trafford after Gers fans bought tickets in the home end.
