A 'healthy' pregnant first-time mum and her newborn baby tragically died just hours apart. Mellodie-Ocean Jarman, 19, reported feeling faint and dizzy while on her way to a routine pregnancy scan on January 31.

She was rushed to the Royal Bolton Hospital as paramedics desperately tried to revive her by performing CPR. There, in the early hours of Sunday (February 2) an emergency C-section was carried out, and Mellodie gave birth to Athena-Pearl seven weeks premature.
