A family have hit out after a five-year-old boy died a week after he was sent home from hospital. Yusuf Mahmud Nazir died on November 23, 2022 - eight days after he was seen by doctors and sent home with antibiotics.

It came after his family complained that he should have been admitted and given intravenous antibiotics in Rotherham Hospital, South Yorkshire, on the night of November 15, YorkshireLive reports.
