The family of a much-loved grandad are urging people to look out for him after searching for him for more than four days. Gary Alder, a dad-of-five from Swinton, was last seen on Tuesday (December 5) and his relatives have not heard from him since.
The 70-year-old, who still works as a painter and decorator, was reportedly seen near Aldi, in Eccles, at around 1pm that day.
Prior to that, he was reportedly seen at Swinton Precinct at 11am. His son, Ryan Donlon, told the Manchester Evening News that Gary's disappearance is 'out-of-character' and he would usually be in touch with his family.
Ryan said: "He might stay out the odd night, but he would stay at his daughter's, or he would come to mine. He will always message me or his daughter, one or the other.
