Family pays tribute to 'smiley and bubbly' baby girl killed in car park crash

The family of a 'smiley and bubbly' baby girl who was killed after the pram she was sitting in was struck by a car in a multi-storey car park have paid an emotional tribute to her.

Little Sophia Kelemen, from Leigh, died following the collision on the ground floor of the car park in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, last Thursday (January 2).

She was airlifted to hospital in Cardiff with severe brain injuries but passed away a day later on January 3. Her auntie, Adriana Kelemen, sister to Sophia's dad Alex, has paid tribute to the youngster, who had just celebrated her first Christmas and was on a holiday with her family, including her mum Betty and older brother, aged five, in south Wales at the time of the incident. "They were on a getaway in Wales with family friends.

It was their last day and they had been out and then went to the supermarket," Adriana told the Manchester Evening News. "It happened in the car park.
