Jet2, Ryanair and easyJet and more issue updates as flights cancelled due to Storm Éowyn

Jet2, Ryanair, easyJet, Loganair and Aer Lingus have all issued updates for passengers flying to and from the UK today, January 24, as Storm Éowyn causes major disruption to air travel.

Rare red weather warnings have been issued for parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland with winds of up to 100mph forecast in some areas.

The Met Office has also issued amber warnings for wind for the large swathes of northern England and Scotland, while remaining areas of the UK are covered by a yellow warning.

Flights across the country have been cancelled or disrupted by the strong winds. Several flights to Belfast and Dublin from Manchester Airport have been cancelled this morning, as well as routes to Aberdeen due to the weather.
