Recently, one woman shared her sister's distress when her cat disappeared for nine hours. The ordeal was recounted in a TikTok video by user @jodie.54, who has a substantial following.

The viral clip, which has amassed 772,000 likes and 1,800 comments since last week, features text saying: "Our cat went missing for over 9 hours and my sister heard a strange noise in her room..." In the footage, a woman is seen climbing onto a stool and peering behind a cupboard after hearing a thud.

And as many might have predicted, she finds her cat comfortably tucked away in the small gap between the wardrobe and the wall.
