Sunderland star Asamoah Gyan earned nearly £3million per goal during his two years playing in China for Shanghai SIPG. The Ghanaian striker moved to the Chinese Super League for £8million in 2015 after three years playing in the United Arab Emirates with Al-Ain having left England in 2012.However, he spent just two years in China, with the second of these spent back in the UAE with a loan spell at Al-Ahli for the 2016/17 season.Overall, Gyan reportedly earned a reported £23.6million during his time with Shanghai SIPG, scoring a total of eight goals in 26 matches across all competitions with the club.This works out to £2.95million per goal scored for the club, with seven of his goals coming in his 20 appearances in the Chinese Super.
