Thomas Zilliacus, the Finnish businessman previously interested in buying Manchester United, has predicted the sale of the club will fall through.
INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari billionaire Sheikh Jassim are the two parties looking to take over at Old Trafford, with the Glazer family's valuation of United said to be £6billion.
The saga has been ongoing for several months now with Jassim - who has put forward four bids - wanting to purchase 100 per cent of the club.
Ratcliffe, who also submitted a bid post-deadline, is wanting to acquire just over 50 per cent - which would leave Joel and Avram Glazer with a 20 per cent stake in United.
