nypost.comserved just 11 days of a two-week jail sentence last year, has signed to star in an untitled ABC comedy inspired by the life of Susan Savage, owner of Triple-A baseball’s Sacramento River Cats, according to Deadline.The project also will star Zack Gottsagen (“The Peanut Butter Falcon”).
The series was reportedly pitched to Huffman by producer Aaron Kaplan, CEO of Kapital Entertainment, and will be written by Becky Hartman Edwards (“The Baker and the Beauty,” “The Bold Type”).
