Ewan McGregor's family have been evacuated from their Hollywood home as a series of devastating wildfires spread through the greater Los Angeles area.
The Scots star's daughter Clara has been sharing her devastation at the impact of the deadly fires. The American Horror Story actress, 28, told fans on Instagram yesterday: "My family got evacuation notices yesterday evening.
We are all safe. Our pets are safe. Feeling very lucky. Praying for our friends/neighbourhood/community." Urgent evacuation notices were put in place within the last day for residents across neighbourhoods in the Hollywood Hills as the wildfires engulfing Los Angeles show no signs of abating.Scots LA-based entertainment journalist Ross King told GMB earlier today: "We're under evacuation orders at the moment.
They're not mandatory, but I tell you, it's such a weird feeling when you're packing up the car. You know we're getting everything ready." He added poignantly: "You go round the house and you take photographs and you're thinking 'this might be the last time you actually see the house,' and that's why your heart breaks when you see so many homes, you know we're talking about thousands of structures gone."After sharing a series of awareness raising posts to evacuate and places to donate to the disaster relief, Clara McGregor shared she and her family had been "evacuated again" early on Thursday morning, as she thanked the LA Fire Department for their heroic efforts.
