Will.i.am, D-Nice & DJ Hed Join ‘L.A. Check In’ Virtual Benefit For Wildfire Relief
deadline.comAs Southern California attempts to recover from last week’s wildfires, the Annenberg Foundation and I Am Angel are hosting a virtual benefit.
Will.i.am, DJ Derrick ‘D-Nice‘ Jones, DJ Hed, Etienne Maurice and other special guests will appear in the ‘L.A. Check In’, streaming live on Instagram and YouTube on Thursday at 6pm from FYI Studios.
Fashioned after Jones’ COVID-era ‘Club Quarantine‘, the benefit aims to provide inspiration and support for people devastated by wildfires while spotlighting the organizations that are on the front lines helping.
Meanwhile, stars like Paris Hilton, Milo Ventimiglia, Adam Brody, Leighton Meester and Billy Crystal have lost their homes in the wildfires, which broke out in the Pacific Palisades, Eaton Canyon, Malibu, the Hollywood Hills and other areas around Los Angeles County amid a “life-threatening and destructive” windstorm that picked up last week.
